FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Is this for only juniors and seniors?
A: No, this event is for students grade 9-12 and is open to all students in the BEAVERTON SCHOOL DISTRICT, not just Sunset
students
Q: My student/mentee is thinking about college, there’s no reason for them to go, right?
A: Wrong. Not only are the breakout sessions worth their time, but the can complete a CRLE (a required portion of their required career education) AND learn about a variety of options for their future whether or not they complete their college degree.
ALL career information is GOOD information.
ANY student in grade 9-12 should be at this event.

Q: Do we have to register?
A: No, though it helps to know how many people to expect since we are providing some food for our attendees and also childcare.
RSVP by using our online form, calling 503-259-5145, emailing [email protected] or signing up in the College & Career Center.
Q: Can we come if we didn’t register?
A: YES. Please come anyway!
Q: Is this a job fair?
A: Not in the sense that there are employers here promoting current openings. The purpose of this event is to give students examples of careers (and training options) for when they graduate from high school, not finding a job right now.
